This film is a typical zombie film, focusing on a virus that turns people into the living dead.  The tittle and opening sequence need to be related to the film, but also can act as a way to intice the viewer as well as give hints into what occurs in the movie. In Dawn Of The Dead, the names of cast and crew are written in red, or in splattered blood, this effect does two things that infrom the audiance about the film. Firstly, its obviouse that this film will be a bloody and violant thriller, and secondly, it gives insits and clues into the  key aspects about the film, for example, in typical zoombie thrillers the infection is carried in the blood, this suggests that the blood is likely to be the carrier of the virus.

The soundtrack is contrapuntal to the mood of the bloody visuals, however, although up beat, it succeeds in creating a scary and tense mood, through the lyrics sung by country singer. This spooky music will make the audiance begin to sence the terror, aswell as interperute this film as a twisted horror, as a direct result of the contrpuntal backing track. The soundtrack is very affective at stricking fear into the viewers, preparing them for the gory film ahead.  Furthermore, the non diagetic sounds of screaming, biting and the hospital heart moniter contribute to creating a violant atmosphere . This shocks the audiance, as they dont expect this horror and violence straight away, which draws the vierers full attention onto the film.

  1. This needs far more work Harrison. You need screengrabs and far more analysis. You also need to have three sequences
