There is some really good stuff on this blog make sure you keep it up. Can you add any rushes from filming prior to editing them ? This would demonstrate really good progression over the course of the project. Try to plan posts that will reflect :-
1. Illustrate (perhaps through Screen grabs) how you have demonstrated Match On Action, 180 Degree Rule, Shot/Reverse shot 2. Examples of other particular editing techniques - for example PACE, Parallel edits, particular transition, how it manipulates space or time, or other continuity techniques like Eye line Match - again consider HOW you will illustrate this. 3. Your decision making - throughout your editing experience, you will discuss (maybe have disagreements) about various alternatives - try to capture some of these discussions and post different versions of a particular scene with a discussion as to which version was decided upon and why.
I am getting a bit concerned about you guys. I understand you will now be shooting this for the third time ! Do not loose focus of the task this is the prelim. Some more detail needed on the blog guys. I would like to see some rushes any stills and links to Youtube or similar that illustrate the editing techniques
As with the post above I still have not seen your final film and the deadline is this friday can you please update the blog and me with whats happening. You are going to have to finish it all mostly in your own time as we have a lot to get through in class.
